General Information
|
This the only CPU produced by Electronic Arrays. EA had
difficulty with production and building a market for the EA9002. The
EA9002 was competitor to the Fairchild F8 and the RCA COSMAC 1802. Because
of its lateness to market the EA9002 never achieved the popularity of
these former chips. The register architecture of the EA9002 has been
compared to the highly flexible 1802 register structure and its scratch
pad memory to the F8. The EA8002 could use Intel 8080 or Motorola 6800
support chips, as well as interfaced well to TTL compatible chips. |
